Refund policy
The short version
- We check Apple again before you pay. If the stock is gone, there's no charge.
- If something went wrong with a paid unlock, email support@restockhound.com and a person will look at it.
- Refunds go back to the card or wallet you paid with, through Stripe.

When you're not charged
When you tap Unlock, we check Apple again for that find. If nothing is still available, there's no charge, and your hound keeps hunting.
If you leave the checkout page without paying, there's no charge either.
When we refund
We handle every refund by hand, so we look at each request. We'll usually refund when:
- you were charged twice for the same hound within one 24-hour unlock window
- you paid, but the store details never showed up because of a problem on our side
A phone can sell out after we show you the store. That's why one unlock covers the hound for 24 hours, and every find in that time is free. We don't usually refund an unlock just because the store sold out before you got there, but tell us what happened and we'll look at it.
How to ask
Email support@restockhound.com within 14 days of paying. Send it from the address your hound uses, and include the date you paid or your Stripe receipt.
How refunds are paid
Stripe sends the refund to the card or wallet you paid with. It includes any tax you paid. If you used a promo code, we refund the amount you actually paid. Your bank may take a few business days to show it.
When we refund an unlock, we may end that unlock's 24-hour window.
If you're in the EU or the UK
You normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content. An unlock is delivered as soon as you pay, because the store details appear right away. Before checkout, you tick a box to agree to that and to accept that you lose the right to cancel once the unlock is delivered. You can still ask us for a refund under this policy.
Chargebacks
If something's wrong with a charge, please email us before you contact your bank. It's usually quicker for you.
