Who we are

RestockHound is a service run by Hegix LLC, 10140 SW 79th Ct, Miami, FL 33156, USA. "We" and "us" in these terms mean Hegix LLC. You can reach us at support@restockhound.com.

By using restockhound.com or adopting a hound, you agree to these terms. You need to be at least 18 and able to make a payment where you live.

Adopting a hound

Adopting a hound is free. You don't need a card or a password. You pick the iPhone Duo models you'd take, one or more areas, and give us an email address.

We email you a link to confirm that address. The hunt starts only after you tap it. The same email has the private link to your hound's case file. Anyone with that link can see and change your hunt, so keep it to yourself.

A hunt lasts 30 days. You can extend it for free with one tap from our email. You can pause and resume it whenever you like.

Finds and teasers

A find is when an Apple Store in one of your areas shows a model you picked as available for pickup, and it wasn't available the last time we checked that store. The same store and model won't alert you again for 6 hours.

For each find we send a teaser by email, and by browser push if you turned it on. The teaser tells you the model, the pickup day, a rough distance like "within 5 mi", and how many stores have it. It doesn't name the store.

Paying to unlock

To see which store has it, you unlock the find. The price is in the teaser and on the checkout page, and it's the amount you pay, with tax included. Promo codes can lower it. Payment goes through Stripe Checkout, where Link, Stripe's merchant of record service, is the seller of record. Your receipt comes from Link, and your bank statement shows LINK.COM* RESTOCKHOUND.

When you tap Unlock, we check Apple again before you pay. If nothing from that find is still available, there's no charge, and your hound keeps hunting.

After you pay, you see the store name and address, how far away it is, which models are available, and a link to Apple's pickup page for that store.

One unlock covers that hound for 24 hours from when you pay. Every find the hound makes in that time is revealed at no extra charge. After 24 hours, the next find needs a new unlock.

An unlock is information. It isn't a reservation, and it isn't a purchase of a phone. You buy the phone from Apple, on Apple's terms. A phone can sell out between our check and your order, and we can't hold one for you. For refunds, see our refund policy.

Alert waves and referrals

Every hound has a share link. A referral counts when someone adopts a hound through your link and confirms their email.

Referrals decide your alert wave:

• 2 or more referrals: wave 1
• 1 referral: wave 2
• no referrals: wave 3

Waves apply only when more than 20 hounds match the same find. Then wave 1 hears first, wave 2 hears 2 minutes later, and wave 3 hears 2 minutes after that. When 20 or fewer hounds match, everyone hears at the same time.

Your current wave is always shown on your case file and in every alert. Referrals to yourself, or from made-up addresses, don't count. We may remove them and reset your wave.

The free checker and public pages

The free stock checker and our public pages show recent data, not live data. Live data goes only to hounds and unlocks.

How accurate this is

We read Apple's public pickup information. It can be wrong, late, or change right after we check. We can't guarantee it's right. We aren't responsible for a wasted trip to a store that no longer has a phone.

RestockHound is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple Inc. Apple and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc. We mention them only to say which products and stores we track.

Fair use

Please don't scrape the site, run the checker with scripts, resell our alerts, or try to get around our bot checks and rate limits. If you do, we may stop your hound or block your access.

Stopping and changes

You can pause or stop a hound at any time. To have your data deleted, see our privacy policy.

We may stop a hound that breaks these terms. We may also change or shut down the service.

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. If a change affects a hunt you have running, we'll email you first.

Liability

We provide RestockHound as it is. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before your claim.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law where you live that can't be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. If you live in the EU or the UK, you also keep the protections of your local consumer law.
